DCS wifi

I used the app on my phone to add engines and designate numbers, when I went to my tablet, they were not arranged the way I set them up on my app. Do I need to be logged into the MTH DCS unit or just my home Wi-Fi to have it upload to the whole system so whoever logs on will see the correct list of engines? Do I need to upload manually, or does it do it automatically?
