Just set up my DCS WIFI. Actually enjoying it. Watched videos and read about it before installation. I don’t remember seeing a warning to be careful that the 120 mph logo is very close to the + sign to increase the speed. If you are not paying attention and do not look before tapping the + sign, one could (did! ) hit the 120 mph logo. That does not make for an enjoyable operating session. If you are new to the WIFI system like I am, you might want to set the maximum speed at a safe number before rolling down the track.

Yes, this is very annoying. You never know when something will race off. Take your eyes off the screen for a second and oops you are done. It is especially tough when using the app to control Legacy engines because you can’t  set a maximum speed for Legacy. I brought this issue up with MTH over a year ago. They are aware of it but there have been no updates to correct the issue so far. Come to think of it, there haven’t been any updates in a long long time.

Next project is to  figure out how to get the E-stop button to show on the screen. Must admit I like the WIFI app. I had been very resistant to trying it because I like the hand held a lot. With Covid in the air I have had time to "experiment" and have enjoyed the challenge. Not quite ready to give up the hand held yet but am looking forward to more time with the WIFI.

Go to "More" at the bottom of your screen.

Advanced Features>System Settings>Hide E-Stop Button
