A good number of us crazy folks got together and ran trains last night here in Southern California. Larry and Lois Carpenter were gracious hosts and we had a great time running trains on his layout. Larry is not real big on steam so several of us brought out steam engines to run....just because. Royce bought out an older gorgeous looking 3rd rail Santa Fe engine that was temperamental. I am not sure what kid of controls is has but two bells would sound then sometimes one bell sound and eventually we got it going.....until is stopped in the inaccessible back tunnel. Since I was the last one to crash in the tunnel Royce was now my new best friend...sorry buddy! Everything else ran fairly well. We all had great time. I made a video for all to enjoy. Thanks again to everyone.

Nice video, thanks for posting. I really like the UP passenger cars in the yellow & gray. May have to get a set of those one day, budget permitting.
