was expecting a delivery today, but got an email from UPS saying weather in Louisville (apparently a big UPS hub) had disrupted operations and my package would be rescheduled. Bummed.
Anybody else affected?

Hey, look at the bright side. At least they told you it wasn't coming, or didn't say that they had already delivered it.
Weaver track cleaning car.
Have several other items items sceduled for monday. This will probably be one more.
Something to look forward to on Monday, Forrest.
Well that will make Monday a better day.
The weekend weather doesn't look too good either.
Yep...instead of being bummed, you should be excited this weekend that Monday is going to bring a delivery of trains for you!! Focus on the positive!!

Alan,
I got the impression he was being positive; positive that he's bummed that his train delivery was postponed until Monday.
My delivery also got delayed because of the storms in jersey this past week even though I live in Pa. No update as of yet but was supposed to be today but looks like Monday or so.
I've had deliveries delayed before. No big deal for me as long as they arrive intact.
What is really fun, though, is when I find a package waiting at home for me that was ordered so long ago that I had forgotten about it or that I don't even remember ordering.

Ok. This makes little sense. I have an updated schedule. Tuesday, for crying out loud.
And...my pkg just left St. Louis. Once it calmed down in Louisville, they sure took their time getting that truck moving.

Right! Obviously why MTH changed to FedEx quite some years ago. Apparently they simply could no longer deal with the damage with UPS, and yes I speak from many experiences, both hobby and business related.
