Does anyone remember a Dept 56 figurine depicting a father giving his son a blue Lionel steam engine out of a Lionel train box.
One was given to me about 20 years ago. Recently, I have been trying to find out more about it on the Dept 56 web site, to no avail.
On the bottom of the item it says it was licensed by Lionel LLC. It was made in China. It does have the Dept 56 logo on the bottom of the piece.
If anyone remembers this item and can share some info about it, it would be appreciated. For example, does it have a title? Did it come in a box? Does it have a stock or model number? The item is about 3.25" tall by about 2.25" wide at the base. It shows a little boy holding maybe a Blue Comet engine looking up to his father, who is holding the lid and the bottom of a Lionel train box, and he is looking at the boy.
Again, all help and all suggestions are appreciated!
