Launching an S Scale GP9 I was building off the lift-out section that wasn't there... It flew off into the abyss in very much the same way that bricks don't, gaining instant "kit" status.

No bad ones here, but had one ironic one. I had gone 8+ years without any bumpers or wheel stops on any of my tracks, never had an accident. Last year I finally got around to ordering them. While the order was still in transit I pushed an all nation refer off the layout and onto the floor. Minor damage but still.
My Lionel 736 was pulling a string of boxcars into a curve when a Weaver car at the front uncoupled. This, of course, made Ole 736 accelerate too fast into the curve and sent 'er down 48" to the carpeted floor. It only bent one of the marker lights, but my heart sure stopped momentarily!
