Sorry, but I found no humor or entertainment value with the video!
quote:
i tried to sell 12 of these buildings on line. first @ $9.99 each + shipping nobody wanted them. i changed the price to $ 5.99 each no takers. then 1 lot of 12 @ $15.00 plus shipping. again nothing no takers. i pitched them in the great blue dumpster and sent them to the land fill.
after taken 12 photos of each building to list them. i wish i had burned them
My buddy picked up a large lot of boxed Plasticville, with the boxes only in good condition. He had a hard time selling them. They only went after he cut the prices to only a couple of bucks each.
I have a bunch of Plasticville, but I do not collect it. One of these days, the stuff will go on a layout.
There are folks who collect Plasticville, but as I posted earlier they want the stuff in top notch shape. Here is there site: PCA
Well, I have to admit, I messed up the paint and decals on an F4. Took a Black Cat, stuffed it inside, doused it with lighter fluid, lit it and joyfully watched a simulated crash and explosion.
That didn't continue, but as a youngster, it sure seemed cool then.
I kept telling them that they needed another fire department. They are cheap I said. They didn't listen, and look what happened now!
Well, I didn't look at the video, but I enjoy Bachmann's American-made (in Philadelphia) Plasticville (as opposed to the post-1997 Chinese-made stuff). I am not a "collector", per se, but I use it on the layout, either "as found" or kitbashed. It is cheap and plentiful. It won't fetch much, if anything, on the auction sites (unless, Mint In Box, perhaps). However, rather than trashing what you can't sell, consider donating either to a kids' organization or to the Plasticville Collectors Association. The Association is always looking for donations of parts or kits, in just about any condition, and will send you a receipt for tax deduction purposes. Info can be found on their website: Plasticvilleusa.org
Great
conceptually it may have been a good idea, however it totally failed in production value. at minimum, some decent editing would have helped, but where was the story line and character development? was Plasticville Power & Gas at fault? was this a terrorist action brought about by the radical Marxville contingent?
film at 11 on KPLA, (WPLA's west coast affiliate, hopefully still on the air).

Well, those creeps at Kleeware or Littletown might be responsible. Don't broadbrush the Marxists.
Don't forget about the Skyline contingent.

Well, I just hope that everyone made it out of PlasticVille safely. There's nothing worst than the smell of burning plastic flesh burning. Oppps, one too many burnings in there.
