I like the way that some traditional Lionel accessories are integrated into a great hi-rail layout.  And that swing-out is awesome.

Like all the steam power action. Great train wreck. lol

Beautiful layout.

Great video.  That swing-out "lift bridge" is nothing short of elegant!  I've never seen that before.

Especially fitting that you featured the "Motor City Express" from Lionel at a Detroit highrailer meet.

Thanks Charlie for your monthly get together video. Clem's layout was particularly entertaining with all of the passenger trains and some outstanding engines. I bet the train wreck was staged to add to the evening..

Nope wasn't staged, he doesn't have Train Wreck Bob on his club shirt without a reason.

What was staged was me by the flowing stream.

Yep the Golden State cars came out of it without injury. Last time I am going to let Bob tail me on the main!

ClemK, very nice layout. I am just starting out and can only hope to have something similar someday. And also live long enough to get it that far and enjoy it for a while before it's time to cash in the chips.
