The Detroit Terminal Railroad in an industrial connecting railroad in Detroit with a long railroading history going back to the steam days. EMD NW2's were stalwarts on this road with several units being utilized over a great length of time. Offered here is an earlier phase configuration with Pre-1981 decoration.
The Detroit Terminal NW2's are now available for preorder from Pat's Trains. These will be available in very limited numbers.

This project has been in the works for sometime. Lionel announcing one was a surprise. That said the green is definitely prototypically correct for Pre 1981. Later in life these NW2's had a weathered appearance that darkened the green.

@MTH Just want to thank Andy and Rich for the lengths they are willing to go to get the decoration correct on their products. It is much appreciated.
They are local for me and attractive. Two of them would probably pull most any train.
