I just acquired another Legacy 0-8-0 at a price I couldn't turn down. I already owned one before and the new one is the same road name and number as the new one. I thought about just re-numbering it for another number but matching the colors of the current lettering will be a pain.
I was thinking of buying the conventional version of the road name I want, and swapping shells. I could then sell off the conventional one or give it too my son.
What are the differences between the shells on the conventional verses the legacy? Would be a straight swap or will I have to add antennas to the shell?
