Looking to update and add additional controls. Was going to repair a broken TIU, But started looking at buying another. Ran into several choices. The "total package" one seems to be the 50-1039 but may be only for HO.
Was going down the path of adding a WIU to my older TIUs when found that a later rev of the TIU has a USB connection and the WIU seem to require a usb connection. Will a usb to serial adapter work for this. Already purchase WIU's (50-1034) and need the TIU to go with them. Can anyone explain the functions of the various parts?
I have 2 50-1001 units at V6.1. one functions the other is broken. There does not seem to be a way to connect the WIU to this version.
Any help would be appreciated.
