IBEW701 Jim,

That is a great story about the ice, and great to have your insight from your years of working in the galleys!!  Thank you so much for your input!!

Mark, I'll let you in on a little secret. That's Chugman's son. Took me a few minutes to make the connection, cause I didn't recognize him in his chef whites.

Sorry Jim! Any plans to head up this way anytime soon?

Elliot,

Wow, how about that!  Now I see it is Jim from the group photo Art posted!

Jim,

I do admire the great work and help you give your dad on his layout.  My dad (still in good health at 86) and I would have liked it if we had the same interests.  However, we both realize everyone is different and we support each other.  His passion is fly fishing and fly tying. Yes he still gets out to the stream!

Jim/IBEW701,

Thanks for sharing the Burlington dome car restoration pictures.  Looks like lots of hard work that's paying off step-by-step.  After seeing the photos, I'm kicking myself for not taking an end of summer trip the Providence and Worcester offered to Connecticut and back.  Never saw any posts about it here, but they had a dome car (Amtrak?) as I recall. Hopefully they'll continue trips under the new Genesse and Wyoming management.
