I want to make sure I'm hooking up the buffer correctly. I use two transformers to power my layout and I connected the Buffer and the 2 transformers via the ground on the power base and the 2 transformers grounds. Both transformers are properly setup a ZW and a Z-4000 to avoid them causing problems of transformer interaction. I always get blue and green lights on the buffer but there is on section on the layout where my Lionel engines stop dead unless I send them into the section at full speed. The MTH engines have no problem. Note I added an extra connection from the power feeds to this area, thinking this would clear up the problem. The layout consists of 4 loops (2 on each level) with numerous sidings on each level. The lower level is powered by Z-4000 and the upper a old ZW. The area that is the problem is on the upper level furthest away from the transformers. Also the area is on the upper level outer loop. Any help would be appreciated.
