Brian, Lionel also made this one item # 6-17664. In addition they made them with white lettering and with blue bodies.

Ah ha! A B&O tug boat! Spending all my time in the mountains, I often forget that my favorite railroads, B&O, WM, N&W certainly had an enormous presence at the coastal ports. Yes Mark, remember where they were taking all that coal!!!
Looks great, Jeff!!
Both nice, SJC

Interesting picture. Any idea as to the model number, e.g. EM-1, of the steam engine on the left

That is the C&O 1309, now at the Western Maryland Scenic. 2-6-6-2.
Not sure what the GP9 is in the front. Doesn't appear to be the GP9 the museum has in it's collection and it certainly isn't the GP7 the museum also has....maybe a "loaner"?
@BANDOB - That GP9 look familiar? As mentioned, doesn't look like the two GP units at the museum today. Maybe a loaner from CSX or similar?
SJC, thank you for the information and calling in BANDOB for his opinion!

Mark,
If Bill doesn't know about the GP9, we might be out of luck. He was the engineer at the museum for many years.

RE: Geep #6255. I vaguely remember seeing it at the museum in the early 1990's. I don't think it was part of the regular museum equipment. Will do some searching.
Well, doing some internet photo searching, I was able to date the photo showing Geep 6255, a GP9, at the B&O Museum, to November 1992. I guess my memory was correct. I found another photo of it at West Gantt, SC, in November 1996, looking like it was in the process of being dismantled. So, no, it was not a part of B&O collection. Can't tell you why it was there, though.

Traincheif - wonderful looking consist!! I really like the prototypical B&O mix of heavy weight and smooth sided cars, and the headend cars. Very nice video!! Thanks for sharing!!!

Thanks Patrick! This is my first video post. I got a lot more B&O to post; glad you liked it.

How about a little Pacific action? Sure!

Have both B&O trains and a 4002 Bang & Olufsen.
I couldn't afford a tangental tracking turntable (say that 5 times fast) in period, but in the age of eBay, I have one.
