I didn't think finding O scale lanterns would be tough but it is.
Doesn't anyone make a good (non-toy-like) O scale version of a conductor's lantern?
I need a few for a structure I'm finishing...

Hey Lee,
If you can show me a picture of what your looking for it would make it easier for me to try and help you out. I am somewhat new to all this, but love searching for stuff.

Closest that you might find are probably from Berkshire Valley
Mike,
Thanks for all the leg work. I searched eBay and turned up with nothing that met my needs.
As for the first link is for a full-size lantern and the second is for some kind of box thing, I'm not what that's supposed to be?
I'm looking for accurate O scale versions of this:
and its for a layout correct?
Again, take a look at Berkshire Valley....probably closest you will find and now they come pre-painted.

Yep.
I'll check the Berkshire later, my computer couldn't open the link for some reason.
Thanks, guys!
Well I went threw 30 pages and you have what I found. I will try again tomorrow. Sorry
I have these MTH Figures on my layout. I guess you could take a hobby knife and remove the lantern from the workman's hand. Click on photo to enlarge. Good luck.

That's the best looking scale lantern so far. Thanks, I didn't find those in my Google search.
I'll be ordering some if them.
Thanks again, everyone!
No Problem, I am sure I am going to be asking for help here alot once I start building my layout. As soon as I get the addition put on the back of my garage.
Lee,
Also, check with Andre at River Leaf Models. I thought at one time he made lanterns.

Joe,
You took the words right out of my mouth. If he doesn't have them he'll make them. Andre is one talented craftsman.
Mike
Here's a kit for a scale, lighted lantern that is 3D printed. Scroll to middle of page.
