Sorry Frank. The last three I got were three rail! So I can't help.
The newer GE's have their screws set farther back in the pilot.
I installed the grab irons. Hope this helps.

Very nice. Grab irons make the plow, especially when MTH and Lionel use the same generic plow for every engine. Great detail work on the MU cable and hoses too.

Did you just paint the blue and red hoses? Did you use Precision Scale Co. products for the air hoses? Thanks.

Nah, I replaced them with colored wire. The MU's are spare parts from an Atlas GP35
