When I got home from York on Saturday, I showed my wife the pictures that I took of the Ruby Tuesday's Dinner. She then asked me a question I do not believe anyone has ever wondered. Her question was what would the dollar amount, if possible to calculate, is the value of all the items in all of the halls. I know it has to be in the millions, but would anyone like to take a guess about the same?

To us, billions!
To people that collect Beanie Babies: $0
My estimate, based on asking prices: $7.5 million
($5000 per table/space x 1500 spaces). Some people are selling small items that in total are $200, one guy brings 100,000 in stuff. So I used a guestimated average).
Hey mikey
PRICELESS !!!
I HAVE wondered that, and I have wondered: "how much does all this junk weigh"
and "how long a train of how many 40 foot boxcars would all this fill"?
In most dealer's minds, old trains $5 Billion. In actuality, $1 Million, give or take.
Lots of trucks unloading Wednesday tons of product all day long.
As the saying goes, One mans trash is another mans treasure. I saw quite a few tables of stuff I would not haul away if it was given to me and several that I would take everything. That's just my take.
jmiller: I saw much of that stuff hauled away, in the same trucks that brought it.
As the man from Trainworld says: "The more you buy, the more you save!" My wife says: "The less you buy, the more money you keep!"
