Dorfan Green | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

We were discussing the Dorfan green here a week or so ago. I just received my green MTH coaches to pull behind my Collector Models Crocodile and the colors are way off as I expected. What I did not expect is the MTH color is closer to an original than the Collector Classic loco. See the original O gauge car for comparison. Neither are accurate, but the MTH is quite a bit closer.

The photos pretty much tell the story. Check with Jeff, he's got the scoop on Dorfan paint samples now.

Being as they are all new, I'll pass on painting anything. I should shoot a test piece from the paint Dave sent to Jeff and do a comparison.

My bet is the paint I sent Jeff won't match any of the above, LOL.

That is what I thought. Now to find what is the dark green mix will be Steve's challenge.
