Double-heading GG1's

Hi Everybody-- Got a quick question I'm not sure about.. I have a RED GG1 by Williams and a GREEN GG1 by Lionel.

If I want to double-head them, is there a trick to make sure they are in sync as far as direction is concerned ?

And on a Trivia note as well: Happy Birthday to ME !! (69 tomorrow, 11-16) ...

Lock the reversing units in one direction and you're good to go.
