Does anyone know where you can purchase extra “tabs” that hold the stack cars together (K-Line, Lionel, MTH)? Photo attached of what I’m describing.

Have to know which brand you are looking for, as K-Line, MTH, and Lionel are not all cross compatible.
These would be K-Line by Lionel, during the 2005 transition. This car is part of the special Conrail Safety set. I actually need 10 of them.
While I don’t have a lead on the exact parts, when this came up a couple of years ago in regard to Atlas containers, I believe one of the suggestions given was to use cut pieces of a round toothpick.
Cut off a small piece from a Q-Tip or from a wooden swab. Works fine.
Try Brasseur's electric trains for k-line parts, if you don't want to make your own.
Or a snipped off 027 track insulating pin?

I was going to suggest Lionel's locator pins, but not sure they were too large for K-line.
