Drawbar derailing AF Big Boy

Hi. The tender drawbar on my Big Boy is catching on my Gilbert curved track. It appears to be locking up at the top part of the tender casting on the curves and I cannot figure out how to correct this. Can anyone help answer this?

Check to be sure that the IR tether wire is not hanging up. It should be dressed like this.
