I see these are fairly cheap but they say use MTH power. Can you use a zw?

If your referring to the dcs remote commander the answer is yes.
Its # is 50-1033
I recommend you simply run it in passive mode. Connect the transformer directly to the track and just connect the outputs of the DCS-RC directly to the tracks. Works just fine that way, and bypasses the requirement for putting all that power through that tiny barrel plug and through the PCB.

You could also connect it to the same terminals as the track wires.
Here is a little Microsoft Paint diagram I just made to show hooking up the remote commander in passive mode. There is nothing to it! I have used the Commander in this configuration and it works great!
