DuPage Show This Weekend, Who's Going?

Art, seems like it was just last week. That is the beauty of this show, meets 11 times a year.

Hope you have good weather.

Weather forecast looks like mid 60s and dry, and since the Chicago Bears stink, I just my go to this one.

Jack, that sounds good.  Hope you can join us for breakfast too.

You know, that is an excellent idea, as that could very well be the best part of the day. I'll sure try and plan on it.

I sure wish there were some other monthly shows......after escalated gas prices, this

show's long distance has not made good sense.  Two hours away, why not attend?

Longer drive, motel bill....not so rational.  It is usually a good train show.

I will be selling outside if the weather cooperates. I will have to pass on breakfast this month so I can set up and be ready for the early birds.

Jon, going to breakfast with the guys is a great way to get started with the Dupage Show. I am sure one of the Forum members will be glad to show you the ropes.

Thank you Passenger Train Collector for the encouragement. I'll be there by 7am for breakfast; look forward to meeting (hopefully) many of you folks.

Jon - We always sit at a long table just inside the restaurant, you can't miss us.  Please be sure to come and say hello and we will make room for you and try to make you feel welcome.  If you're not sure, ask the waitress where the train guys are.

Dang, with fall on it's way the summer toy is about ready for storage and I wanted to go. Then Dad called and needs me to look at something on his truck. Looks like it will be Nov.

You guys make me envious....a great show almost every month!!  The best part being with friends and breaking bread with them!!  One of these days, I am going to plan a trip to see my relatives that live in Northwest Indiana and I am going to come to the show and meet you guys...

Had another great time today. This time we had I think 13 join in on breakfast. I'll post some photos once I get them from the camera.

Hot Water/Jack - Sorry I wasn't sitting close enough to be able to visit much, but really are glad that were able to join us and hope that we will see you on a regular basis.

You guys are what makes going to this show so special and enjoyable.  I love looking for bargains and the rare finds, but the fellowship is what makes it so much fun.  See you all next month.

I was not going to stop for breakfast this morning because I was meeting someone at the

show, but when I was going right by the restaurant I decided to stop in and have a cup of coffee and meet the group. I'm glad I did and had a great time.

Thanks Art for getting this together, I'll stop in earlier next month and enjoy more time to get to know everyone.

It wasn't raining!!

You must have had some bad experiences attending in rainy weather.  The last few months the weather has been beautiful.  I don't think York is going to be so lucky.
