Is there any indicators for telling how much time the system has been on?
I know each engine has it's time recorded, but how about the handheld and TIU?
The reason I ask is this...I've had mine since September 2011, since then I've replaced the batteries in the handheld twice. Probably 4 months on each set of batteries.
I was wondering if this is normal, but to get a "normal" reading I'd have to know exactly how many hours of run time I have on the system. I've probably run my trains approx 1 hour each day since I bought the system. When I pulled the batteries out tonight I measured them and they measured 0.77 to 0.80 VDC on each battery. The "new" batteries I put in measured 1.1 VDC (they're probably not new, I found them in the bottom of a bowl where my wife keeps the batteries for her insulin pump).
How often do you guys replace your batteries?
