Lionel 9470 is also an EJ&E boxcar.
That's a negative on the cabeese. It's looking like we are going to have a great year though, with MTH making the transfer diesels and atlas making the double sheathed box cars. Anything else your just going to have to custom paint. My father had a custom J caboose made for my first birthday. There's a picture of it on my blog somewhere.
Falconservice. Nice photos. I'll have to look for the coil car, pretty nice. MTH should be able to duplicate the caboose you show.

Zett, is Altas running EJ&E boxcars again? Hope so, they do a great job.

Even some fantasy EJ&E items would be OK with me! I've got some MTH ore cars being repainted for the EJ$E now. Hope to get some bobber cabooses painted also. Pure fantasy. Joe
Here are the two links showing this years EJ&E items. I have everything on preorder. Do me a favor and if your interested and want to see more EJ&E items, make sure you preorder. I really dont want any cancellations. The more orders they get, the more likely they will produce more in the future, and there is a TON of EJ&E gems that have never been produced!

Here are the transfer diesels by MTH:

They look fairly close to the real ones.. Will need a few modifications to make them a closely to perfect match.

Here are the box cars by Atlas. Make sure you get all 4 road numbers.

They are master line currently priced at $60 a piece for 3-rail. I was actually expecting a higher price on them, so I am pleased. Hopefully you can pick them up for around $50, which is good for a master line product. Pre-order deadline is Feb 8th.

I will try to get some pictures of my O-27 custom EJ&E cars just to show you guys what I do have.

The EJE 3525 PS-2-CD 3-Bay Covered Hopper is a 4740 Cu. Ft. Capy. hopper built in 1967. It matches the Weaver Models 3-bay covered hopper.

End showing the real car so that you can compare it to the Weaver hopper model.

Jerry's pic is a Baldwin. I believe the MTH model is a Lima-Hamilton.
Fred

Aside from Milwaukee Road stuff (hehe) I am totally ignorant of what MTH or Lionel is planning to turn out this year, but... The MTH Lima-Hamilton transfer loco is not too far off in size to be a "good enough" representation of the DT6-6-2000. EJ&E fans may want to jump on that engine while it's available. Hope MTH gets the green paint right, looks a little too much like olive drab in the website pic.
