I just became aware of the O Gauge cars sold annually by the group restoring the Milwaukee Road's Elkader, IA depot, known as the Elkander Depot Project. Below is a photo of their model railroad car for 2015. Can anyone tell me more about these annual cars including when these cars were first sold and what specific cars were sold in what years?

I found info on their Facebook page. The flatcar with the grader sells for $75. Last years car was a yellow 3-bay covered hopper. Some may still be available for $55. They also show a brown boxcar, but I don't think it is available. Website says to order:
"Please send Mary Witt a message on Facebook or call her at 563-245-2717."
All proceeds go to the Elkader Depot project.

For Milwaukee Road special order cars I always think Lionel Railroad Club of Milwaukee. They have a run every year.

Those Allis-Chalmers graders are available separately. I have one on a Lionel scale flatcar. They're really nice models, made by First Gear. The flatcar with the grader for $75 is a good deal.

I am a member of the Milwaukee Road Historical Association (MRHA) and in the packet I just received with MRHA's latest magazine issue was a flyer for the Elkander Depot Project's yellow Milwaukee Road hopper, which I now know was their 2014 car and immediately ordered. However, after mailing in my order I had second thoughts since the flyer indicated it was a Weaver car and I knew that Weaver Models had closed. So I went online searching for Elkander Depot Project and found the picture I posted that I now know is their 2015 car. But not being a member of Facebook, I couldn't find pictures of their other annual cars, which is why I posted the question on this forum.
Of note is the fact that until I added "Milwaukee Road" to the title and text and included a picture of the Elkander Depot Projects 2015 car to my original posting, it got no responses. Lessons learned!

Thanks for the info. I know that the Milwaukee Road Historical Association (MRHA) is selling the yellow Weaver hopper as I just received a flyer from MRHA in the packet with the latest issue of their quarterly magazine. Of course, I ordered it immediately!

I have talked with Mary Witt this morning, Monday 10/5. The Milwaukee Road O-Gauge flat car in the tuscany red, along with the CJ Moyna Construction A-C Forty-Five Motor Grader as the load is still available. I plan to order one today.
