What type of engine is this? It was originally a Chessie, I had it stripped, repainted and put Conrail decals on it. It looks like a U25, just can’t tell if it’s B or C

I’m thinking U30B. The cooling wings look too big for a U25. I can’t see how many axles it has. If it has 4 axles it’s a B, 6 axles it’s a C

That’s a Lionel MPC-era GE U36B. Basically, a U36B shortened to fit on Lionel’s GP9 frame. Also famously done in the Seaboard Coast Line bicentennial scheme for no. 1776.
