I am trying to design into my layout some sidings to store locos but the few things I have tried don't look good to me. I want to bring the train off the mainline into the yard. Decouple the engine and stick it someplace. If I use a yard track the engines take up a track and end up getting buried by other engine and inaccessible. I want to do something probably where I run the engine back out onto the mainline and then stash it someplace. Any help with ideas on how and what might look good appreciated.
