guys, I have an mth es44 gevo with the charging lights cab #2010. I it is lurching at speed steps 2 and 3. it starts to smooth out at about speed step 4. it had a wheel set that had a chipped gear tooth. thought that was the problem. so I grabed another mth UP es44 I had and took the wheel set off of that one and replaced the bad one. still lurching. I then swaped out the motors from the UP es44 to the gevo es44.thought that might do it. still lurches at slow speed steps 2 and 3. checked the gears for any debri or binding with motors out while swapping them out. all gearing seemed smooth and good no binding whatsoever. could I have a bad tack reader? What would cause this poor slow speed?
Also do mth can motors if not abused or overtaxed ever wear out? what is thier life span in a heavily run engine?
