ETS 412 Stake Side Cars | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I found a place in Arizona that could get me some stake side cars to use behind my Sequoia Lumber Mallet. Picked up four of them. Loads came from my apple tree which is in process of being lowered by about 10 feet.

Nice cars/loads. I felt that the ETS log cars were way to pricey, so I opted for some MTH short spine log cars - they are a little small for the 1:43 Sequoia. Your solution looks real good.

Ain't that 2-4-4-0 a sight to behold? I really enjoy watching the rod and link action on mine - gets my eyeballs running in circles!

The loads look great! What did you use for chain over the logs? Nice touch.

They come already on the side stakes. A section attached to each side with a clasp on one end.

Does not show well in their photo, but they are there.
