Good evening everyone,

I'm currently working on a very nice building front from Harry Hieke, this is going to be a really nice project. Ben from the NJ Hi-railers came up with the idea to kit bash four of these building fronts together and create a huge square brewery. It's my first time working with products from Harry Hieke and I must say these kits are quite nice. Being that we are kit bashing four of these together, Harry included four corner crowns/ cornices as you will see in the photos. Please note nothing is near it's completed point, there's still construction, painting , filling , and weathering left to do. This structure when complete will be on display at the NJ Hi-railers club layout. I will post completed photos of this structure when it's complete. Thanks for looking and enjoy.

Thanks, Alex

Also Harry's kit includes lots of other details, such as a loading dock, awing, fire escapes, decals, water tower , and a beer bottle which mounts on the roof.

Hi Don,

Harry was kind enough too miter all the edges of the building fronts on a 45 degree angle. So I had minimal sanding, But with a resin kit there's the usual lite sanding to get the extra resin off. If you purchase a kit from him just ask him to 45 the edges for you.

Thanks, Alex

Dave these are made with resin so they do have  a slight warp to them, to correct this you have to heat the structure up a bit lay it on a flat surface and put some weight on it.

As for the seems, again these are made with resin so when working with this material you will have to do some sanding, filing , and filling. There's a bit of work to do with these structures, but the reward in the end will give you a very realistic looking building.

John thank you for the kind words, I will post completed photos soon

Thanks, Alex

I also would like an email or web address of Harry Hieke. I'm always looking for new building kits to try. I did something similiar with 3 identical Ameri-towne kits. Let your imagination be your guide! Again, great work Alex.

Hi Paul thank you for the kind words, here's Harry's website

Harry's website is   EverythingOScale.com

Thanks, Alex
