Again another post on this. First, I did search to seek an answer but did not find it. This is my first attempt to fasten seated GGD figures to RK coach seats. I also have 3 or 4 standing figures to fasten to the aisles. I have Aileen's Tacky glue and tubes of silicone.  I have worked with the tacky glue on other scenery projects. But I remember reading that tubed silicone is also a good alternative which I have used to adhere RK cab figures which are still in place. My concern is after seated/ standing figures are applied will they stay put when I need to turn the car over to reinsert the screws which fasten the roof to the base of the coach. Looking forward to your advice. Thanks, Fred.

I have used "tacky" glues for passenger figures and found that however long you leave them to set they won't be as secure as when you use two part epoxy or contact cement. Many people on the forum have recommended using a hot glue gun, which I have not tried. Frankly, Elmer's Glue works better than the tacky type.

There's more of a problem with standing figures because there's less area on their base (feet) to apply the adhesive. For these I have taken to putting a dowel (small diameter brass rod) in one side and drilling a hole for it to be placed in the car floor and applying the glue in the hole as well as the rest of the base. Depending on the exact size of the figure this can be fiddly work but it keeps it secure.

Go to your local Napa store and buy a roll of Butal tape. They used this stuff for car windows. Anyway you can roll this stuff into little balls and stick it to the figures butts and place them in the seats. It works very well. Plus if you want to move someone to a new seat, the figure will pull up easily. The last time I bought a roll of Butal tape it cost around 17 bucks, but I use it for everything
