We begin our chase at East Deerfield Yard.
On eastward to Charlemont; its not hard to catch trains with the many speed restrictions on Pan Am.
Deep in the heart of the mountains, the excursion winds along the river towards the Hoosac Tunnel.
After existing the Hoosac Tunnel, the excursion passes North Adams, the pre diesel era base of electric operations.
Passing the Vermont Railway line at Hoosic Junction.
Nearing Schaghticoke.
The scenic Fisherman's Lane in Schaghticoke still looks good, even as the light and weahter fails.
Crossing the Hudson River in Mechanicville.
Rounding the curve at XO tower by the Delaware and Hudson Port of Albany line.
And finally, offloading passengers in the new Mechanicville Yard.
Leaving the Yard with less glamourous power (but yet, matching the equipment) the train heads towards Bennington, VT.
