A few weeks ago I bought about a dozen command switches.  Programming was super simple with a cab-1 remote and they have worked flawlessly until today. For some reason now, the switches are misfiring.  For example when I press SW 1, sometimes SW 1 and SW 3 will switch at the same time. Or if I press SW 6 it fires the #4 switch.  It is happening to all of them and it is random.  I have replaced the remote batteries and I have gone through and reprogrammed all the switches with no change.  Any experts have ideas as to what might be happening? I have a 135w powerhouse, a powermaster set to CMD and command base  connected to the U terminal of the powermaster.

I would try the base wire directly to the track. No reason, just an easy enough test to try. perhaps the track signal is getting messed up with the powerhouse.

Try two: hold your hand over a confused switch. If it becomes unconfused, then it may be the antenna in the switch. A few have had the switch become unresponsive due to this. remove the back of the switch and point the antenna in the opposite direction.

try three: Plug the base power supply into a different receptacle with a known good earth ground. Round hole.

have you installed or used any new electrical device that uses the house wiring - like remote on/off units?
