Fastrack Command Switches Misfiring

I would try the base wire directly to the track. No reason, just an easy enough test to try. perhaps the track signal is getting messed up with the powerhouse.

Try two: hold your hand over a confused switch. If it becomes unconfused, then it may be the antenna in the switch. A few have had the switch become unresponsive due to this. remove the back of the switch and point the antenna in the opposite direction.

try three: Plug the base power supply into a different receptacle with a known good earth ground. Round hole.

have you installed or used any new electrical device that uses the house wiring - like remote on/off units?

Thanks for the advice. I will try wiring the command base directly to the track and also see if there is an issue with the antenna in the switches. The only thing that changed today was that I added a new tmcc engine to the track. I'm not sure that would matter though. 

if you take the "new" engine off of the track and all is well, then there's an issue with the engine. That's the only thing that changed.

But try the hand over and the base wire if the engine off of the track doesn't help.
