I learned this lesson many years ago when I stood in line for a half hour.  I didn't think I'd get off of work but I did... back then I'd run around the first few hours checking out all the halls to fill "my list." So, missing the first half hour really put a dent in my search.

Also, a few Yorks ago I stopped reading these posts about York gripes.  However I must admit I learned I've been eligible for the senior rate.  I never gave it thought, just considered the difference a donation to the TCA.

Nowadays I'm mainly interested in the Orange Hall.  I get to see the manufacturer's displays and make decisions on what I'm going to preorder.  And there's always something I didn't plan on buying that ends up in my bag.

It's kind of like Christmas morning with a lot of trees to look under...

Thank you Frank,

If your works are on display in the Orange Hall I've complimented them a couple times in the past.

It really does have a "holiday" feeling... York.  My dad's been gone since 1997 but I always feel him with me there.  He always reminds me to tip the guy in the bathroom a buck.  I guess I should bump it up for the twenty years it's been since we were there together.

I won't be there this October, but I thank you for your visits in the past. Have a wonderful time; in fact, have a merry early-Christmas looking under all those "trees."

FrankM.
