It seems Hoop.la is stuck in the Twilight Zone today. Ive been fighting tooth and nail with spellcheck.

(don't board any space ships or airplanes today either, try the train to Willoughby

I used the tops off of sock hangers... tough to see, but it makes for good lattice fence IMO... I'll try again when I find a better shot.IMG_20180924_034711~4

I used the "craft sticks" from the ice cream isle of the grocery store  fireplace matchsticks, and whatever other scrape was handy using minimal effort.

The low fence is a counter balance so it can stand alone. It kept getting it's wood posts snapped by Bruno the dogs nose. This way I just stood it up (He liked to watch from a stool; snout on the layout, pilots just missing him)

"Slightly" better shot's of the sock hanger fences.

We need a photo of Bruno the dog watching the train from his stool.

  • I had posted a few here on forum of him on the stool when he was around.  I lost nearly all my old photos.  I'm not sure those survived. I'll look. He was the biggest clown of a dog I ever had around.
  • He went with his real owner to live elsewhere to avoid possible dominance issues; I have his much larger male puppy; Puppi.   Puppi doesn't have much interest in watching anything but me or the birds that nest in his bush. He doesn't chase them, he just likes birds. He also coos to the doves that roost near my room when warm, happy, and content. A 140lb cooing Swiss Bandogge, lol.     Vladimir (Vlad is on the doghouse by the fence) was a 180lb short hair Middle Asian Shepard/Moscow Guarddog. Visually a much bigger black/grey brindle version of Puppi. (an "experienced owner only" breed for sure with the Russian dogs )..also liked birds, defending any baby birds they might come across in the yard. (he hated bluejays).  Eerily similar personalities and quirks.
  • I took this shot because Bruno began guarding the loco I had set down, from Puppi who had just thought about grabbing it before Bruno inserted himself and began growling as seen.  He trained Puppy to stay out of garbage, beg from neighbors in silence, and (drumroll).....jump the fence ....etc.etc.  His dumb Mom mostly just taught him how to eat my fake layout trees. Today he mostly follows dad's lead and sticks to bringing cardboard boxes gently, asking permission before tearing them to shreads.
  • Two months later these two couldn't be in the same room. (never my idea to, just sayin') Both remain social to other dogs; 2 males 1 house just seldoms works.   The owner just didn't want to hear that & needed proof and a boot dogday4
