Nice work there pete. Great idea with the HO rail!
What happened to the rest of this thread?
I posted a "REPLY" to a longer thread, and I somehow ended up as OP. Strange.
It seems Hoop.la is stuck in the Twilight Zone today. Ive been fighting tooth and nail with spellcheck.
(don't board any space ships or airplanes today either, try the train to Willoughby
I used the tops off of sock hangers... tough to see, but it makes for good lattice fence IMO... I'll try again when I find a better shot.
I used the "craft sticks" from the ice cream isle of the grocery store fireplace matchsticks, and whatever other scrape was handy using minimal effort.
The low fence is a counter balance so it can stand alone. It kept getting it's wood posts snapped by Bruno the dogs nose. This way I just stood it up (He liked to watch from a stool; snout on the layout, pilots just missing him)
"Slightly" better shot's of the sock hanger fences.

We need a photo of Bruno the dog watching the train from his stool.
Johan the fence looks terrific. What did you use to build it?

Joe: Thank you. It´s a laser cut and all metal, so do not touch the barbed wire.

Must be really good beer beyond that fence!
