LOL!!! Roger welcome to the club!!
Thanks Sean!! I'm in so much pain!!................lol..............Roger
Without pics there is no proof!
Gosh, next thing we know you will suprise us and ballast your stark naked track.
But if you really have bought one, after seeing photographic verification I will run a stinking E 6 dismal [one lap]in celebration.
I can't catch a break!!!............OKAY!!.............I will post some pictures of my new steam engine!!!..................rogerw.
Good morning Roger and I look forward to seeing a real Locomotive on your layout.
Once you show those Ps-4 photos I will no longer have to defend you regarding the rumor that as President of Triad Model RR Club, you had banned running steam locomotives on the Modules.
Real good "Breaking News" today regarding Roger's new 4-6-2 Ps-4. The bad news is that he now needs a Coaling Tower and Ash Pit. I forgot, and a tall water bucket on legs for that thirsty beast.
Now to get rid of those darn EOT's!
I just can't catch a break!!!!....You're dad is on his way to your house..........Rogerw.
President Roger
As stated on my email, congratulations! But be sure to have those stinking "dismals" stand at attention when coal-fired Royalty is passing by.
Hey Dewey, Diesels are still king on my layout................lol........rogerw

Are any of you going to be at the LCCA Red Carpet event at the Lionel Warehouse in Concord, NC on March 23rd? I will be there and would like to met some of my fellow Southern Railway fans.

Hello Neal, I will try to attend the LCCA Red Carpet event in Concord on March 23rd.........rogerw.
Hey Dewey, Did you run your E-6 diesel engine around your layout?? I do have on my layout, a coaling tower (Plasticville and Lionel's red and white building) and a MTH operating water tower. No ash pit.......yet..............Rogerw.
Roger
Yep, ran my lionel E6 but only one lap--my track is filthy with glue and some rust paint that I shakily applied to the rail sides as well as being covered with boxes and tools. A mess.
I had two choices for installing an Ash & Cinder Drop. One, that I copied from a crude early 1920s Drop Pit just off the old A&Y Wye in downtown Greensboro and, two, you can buy a custom made Ash & Cinder Tower from David Duhumel as represented by the template lying beside my homemade Pit shown below. When I can find where I stored it I will post a photo of David's outstanding unit. Need to fire up a real charcoal pan and make some ashes.

Old World War I era Atlantic & Yadkin Ash Pit, full of leaves and melting snow with grates removed and askew when photographed in 1982. I turned to shoot a ancient coal trestle but a cop chased me away.

I'll be there sporting my Southern Mikado T-Shirt I shouldn't be to hard to miss.
Roger
Now you know you have to build a full service steam facility and roundhouse for that Ps-4!!
Dewey
I didn't know anyone was making an ash pit..... Now you got me thinking!!
Hey Sean, I have to dedicate some real estate for a full service steam facility. I don't know about getting a roundhouse! Did you check out our club's website??................Rogerw.
Hey Roger,
Yeah I did.
Also I downloaded the application to fill and send back to you.
