Anyone finding plain autos from the 70s and 80s. All I can find are hotrod muscle cars. It would be nice to have sedans, station wagons, and P/Us in 1-48th or 50th. I like looking at CVS pharm as they sometimes have cars, last time I found a cadilac near scale.

Have you tried Diecast Direct?
I've had some success with Walgreens, Rite Aide, and CVS but I agree they all seem to have a lot of muscle cars right now.
In addition to Diecast Direct, have you tried ebay or amazon? Quick search of ebay showed a lot of sports cars too including Knight Rider and a Smokey and Bandit trans-am but most sedans seem to be Russian. Have had good luck with Amazon in the past so might be worth a look.
I looked at a wrecker truck at CVS yesterday but it was 1:38. I wondered if it would be too big? At $4.99 it was very detailed and authentic. I couldn't find it on their web site.
I guess there are places one can force perspective with scale but I still like to just use scale product. i also look at car washes as people with kids have nothing beterto do but keep the boys happy with a toy car purchase. I need to have a tape measure with me to measure length and width of the toys as many have no scale posted.
What is the words. bigger closer and smaller away. Now, just to get BAC to break 15 and it will be a good week.
Hot water< checking it out, dicast direct, 1/43 cars are very expensive. and 1/50 limited. But it was a good call as they had many real cars but need many at $5 to $12. Wonder how much it would be for one to import a line of cars in runs of 2000 each in 1/48. Plastic/ diecast as long as it looks good at 3 to 5 feet away.
