Good evening all, I recently just moved to Harrisburg within the last year and am planning my first trip to York, this week.

Im not a member of the TCA, do I have to join at the door to get into the show?

Second question, I was planning to go with a friend from work, if I join at the door could he be my guest on the inaugural trip?

Any tips or anything else I need to know?

Appreciate any and all help-  Jon

Yes, you have to join in order to go to all the halls. It is easy, just go to the silver hall and follow the line into the business area, bring a photo ID (since you are not voting in an election). They accept cash, checks and cards. After you get your pass you can go  anywhere, as long as you display your badge. If you like prewar or postwar trains, the Blue, Red and Silver halls are your best bet, there are more modern trains for sale in the Orange hall. You will be given a map when you register. The halls are walking distance, but shuttles are available if you have trouble or get tired. Good luck hope you enjoy the show.
