Can Fixed channels be changed to Variable as well as Variable channels changed to Fixed. I have the OGR Video guide but I did not see this subject covered.

hi as far as I know you can turn fixed 1 or fixed 2 off or on, and you can change variable on or off but that is all I believe, check with Barry on the forum ok

I don't think your answer is correct. I have two TIUs in Super Mode, and reprogramed each and every channel to "fixed" for total DCS operation.
The fixed channels are fixed only, the variable channels can be used either as variable or set to fixed.
that's why I said I think but I also do not run in super mode and also told him to check with BARRY
rtr is correct. The TIU does not have the internal components needed to vary the output voltage. There is an indirect way to be able to control, via the remote, voltage fed to tracks that are powered by a fixed channel. That is to use a Z4000 transformer with the hard-to-find Z4000 receiver. The receiver is device to remotely control output voltage from the Z4000.
Alan , Are you referring to the dcs signal? Any channel can have the dcs signal turned off or on however I don't think that's what the question was about, No the fixed channels (fixed 1&2) can not be operated with the dcs remote in var mode. Exception as RJR mentioned above.
