Flags for the smaller "ID" prewar flag stantions that are on the "O" gauge Loco's | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Does anyone make flags for the smaller "ID" flag stanchions that are on prewar "O" gauge Loco's.
Saw some at the last show I went to and the dealer stated that Lionel only made flags for the larger flag stanchions and not the smaller ID flag stanchions.
The Flag stations that he had were cast metal.
I have a Lionel 253 with the larger "ID" openings that accept the flags but none of my Lionel 252 or 248's fit.
Figure that I would ask first before I make some out of brass stock.

I made mine from heavy duty straight pins, and colored paper.

Toytrainparts on eBay has flags: small pole flags for the corner flagholders on O & std gauge electris .068 pole dia. Hope this helps.
