Good evening everyone,

Well if you like the New York Central, this is a beautiful site. I like and collect many road names, but the site of this NYC Dreyfus

Hudson pulling the NYC passenger cars is just incredible. Here's a short video and some photo's. Thanks for looking and enjoy

Hi Guys, I thank you all very much for the nice words

Joe, when upgrading a puffer unit there's a few ways of doing it. I drill out the two exhaust holes inside the unit. If I drill them out slightly larger I get plenty of smoke out of the stack, but if I drill them even larger I will get a back draft ( I guess ) and it will have this type of effect. These exhaust holes cannot be drilled to large because this can backfire and smoke will no longer exhaust from the stack.

Thanks, Alex

Awesome smoker Alex, couldn't happen to a nicer looking locomotive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know when we all come to visit; you're gonna be inundated with at least 10,000 questions about how to make a train room unfit for human occupation don't you??????????

I love it, keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best,

Dave

Just saw this video Alex....yep, that is a beautiful train.  You inspired me to crawl under the layout and find my MTH Dreyfuss that I almost forgot I had.  Still finding stuff I packed away and it is like Christmas all over again!  Anyway, I pulled her out of the box and she is on the layout now next to my Smithsonian edition.  Both have two different numbers...what luck!  Now I have to find the cars...  Looks like you are pulling the MTH cars and they match the Lionel paint quite well from what I can tell on your video.

Thanks so much for posting this....WOW!

Alan
