Missed those and the scrapple....but neither were "missed". Did miss the big Amish buffets, all of them, as a drive to Lancaster in rain was not appealing.
Idk how you guys can eat that Scrapple! I will stick with my sausage egg and cheese with some home fries and buttered toast Thank you!

I can eat it just fine. Been eating it since I was a boy, even helped make it a couple times.

I just mentioned scrapple because it is a point of discussion near York time. I don't remember ever trying it, maybe once. I like buffets because l can get enough bacon. Two or three chintzy strips at most restaurants does not hack it. As for eggs, l barfed them up about the time l started solid food as a tot, and have carefully avoided them ever since! To each his own..(l avoid restaurants that insist in including and charging for eggs in every breakfast entree, and there are a lot of them)
Scrapple? Bad for your health; been eating it since-- turning 81 this fall. It was fried corn meal mush with everything but the squeal of hog added in; not for the faint of heart. Hard to find down south. Enjoy overbore
Scrapple is better for you than Funnel Cakes. All that sugar will kill you.
Scrapple is more nutritious than a Big Mac, or any fast food that most folks seem to enjoy.
I walked over 22miles during York Week. Several restaurants offered Scrapple though I had it just once. If I had gone to Burger King, the 22miles wouldn't have put a dent in the damage that meal might have done.
Can Scrapple Ice Cream be far behind?
(Hey, Ben! Jerry!)

Neighbors sent me this photo some time ago. I've since discovered it's a fake.
There is actually Scrapple beer. A son-in-law loves scrapple, but did not think much of the beer.

My Wife purchased a bag for my daughter, but ate it on the way home!
