Hmm. I'm not getting any answers mid-thread, so I'll try an open topic question.
Does anyone know of a supplier who stocks O scale forklift trucks?

Max,
The model tech studios link doesn't appear to work. From their homepage, go to O Scale Detail Accessories, then go to the second page of that group and you will find the forklift near the bottom of the page.
Dave
Thanks, Dave.
Diecast Direct had some O gauge forklifts in the last catalog I have from them. Should be on their website.
I think I remember seeing a Menards add with a forklift a while back. Could have been a flatcar with forklift load though?
Arttista is too difficult to deal with.
Moving on.
Nice, Naveen. Where did you get them?
I bouhgt it at Diecast Direct showroom in Frankfort, Kentucky, USA.
I am posting from my smartphone & I am having trouble with posting the following link to their webpage with these forklifts. They cost less than $7.

The Hot Wheels ones are pretty close to scale.
Arttista is the only convincing one in O. Something we need more choices of along with 60 & 70's trucks and buses. It's either too old or modern.
The forgotten vehicle era. Thanks to Athearn O for providing Ford C trucks once! You would think since most train guys were from the 60's on, vehicles of that era would dominate the O market?
I keep this little guy very busy!
Thanks, Guys.
Arttista is too difficult to deal with from here.
I like the Diecast Direct ones, but they are also difficult. I'm persevering.
I haven't been able to Google a link for a Hot Wheels supplier.
Still trying both.
I've back ordered a couple from Diecast Direct.
Thanks.
I had come across the Arttista version when I was shopping for forklift models a few years ago but it was around $35, 5 times the price of the models, Diecast Direct sold. I knew that Arttista's version included the operator figure unlike the model from Diecast Direct but after seeing the Arttista forklift model that SIRT posted, I am glad I didn't get it as it looks too old for my diorama.
The Diecast Direct forklift also has sliding mast sections & the mast also tilts allowing the load to be posed at different heights but the mast sections in my model did not have enough friction to hold even the empty forks raised.
These are just my opinion,
Thanks,
Naveen Rajan
I just had a return email from Dennis at Arttista, telling me that HIS address is on the website.
I emailed him back telling him that I only have a PO box - not him. Sheesh!
Well, at least he replied.
Diecast Direct only sell the yellow ones - and they are out of stock. I've placed a back order.
Thanks.
JPV69.... yes, have a copy of that picture. Have used it many times as a Safety Manager and teaching instruction for operating licenses.
Jesse
Well, at least he lifted the little one with the big one.
Dennis from Arttista seems to have give up on me.
I can't open the website to place an order - maybe it's Geo-blocked like Amazon.
It's a pity, as he has some really good models, but I just can't buy them.
A pic of the one offered by Model Tech Studios
You may want to try. Nicholas Smith Trains for Arttista. They usually carry the complete line and have a good site for ordering.
Thanks, Dave.
I'll have a look.
Dixie Union Station near Cincinnati, Ohio in the US is another dealer who stocks a lot of Arttista models.
These are just my opinion,
Thanks,
Naveen Rajan
I found the forklift truck on Nicholas Smith's site and xtrains. US$36.95 Very expensive.
Hopefully Diecast will get some in.
One of our MMR's is doing an order for Arttista, so I've ordered one from him to try to save some postage.
Thanks, Naveen. I'll look them up.
Tried Dixie Union Station and couldn't get the Search Inventory to work.
At least I've found out that Arttista's number is 9001
Thanks for the thought, Naveen.

Gene,
I got one set during my most recent visit to the Diecast Direct showroom in Frankfort, KY & another from E-Bay.
Here are the links to these sets at Diecast Direct website & another link from an earlier O-Gauge Forum post where I did a mini-review of these sets.
These are just my opinion,
Thanks,

Just don't try to buy their forklift trucks. They're out of stock.
Mine are on back order. I have had no indication from them when/if they are expecting more.
Thanks Naveen!!
I'm making progress.
Despite problems on the Arttista website, Dennis is dealing with me by email, so I'm pretty confident. Their trucks are VERY expensive. Another MMR here is doing an order for Arttista figures and has added my truck to his order.
Diecast Direct have emailed me. They are making up a PayPal order for the one yellow one they have in stock. That's good.
I have asked them to back order a couple more for me as well.
It's rather like swimming in custard, but it's the price for living down here.
I get in trouble at my job for standing on a chair to look up on a shelf.
At least these guys have the proper 5:3 ratio of inspectors/onlookers versus workers. Should be enough people to fill out the accident reports.
Good News! Persistence beats resistance.
Diecast have emailed me with a PayPal invoice. They are ready to ship 2 forklift trucks to me. US$13.90 plus US$26.95 shipping. A$55.70. That's A$27.85 each.
These shipping costs are frightening for outside USA!
I wonder how much does it cost today for a big heavy engine.....! in december 2014, I already paid $ 70 for.
I know, when you love, you don't count the cost, but all the same.....

Thanks, Johan.
JP I remember when I bought my Atlas SDP 35, the postage was A$90.00

Johan,
Those wheels on the Siku forklifts look better than the wheels on my forklift from Diecst Direct, the Diecast Direct forklifts seem to have wheels with automotive style hub caps (wheel rim covers). I work for Caterpillar & every day I see forklifts at my facility with wheels that are significantly different but at first tried to overlook this error on the Diecast Direct forklifts since I only paid $6 for it but over time I still couldn’t get used to the wheel looks. I tried to sell mine a few years ago but shipping costs being higher than the cost of the forklift turned away some prospective buyers. So now I pose it on an obscure corner of my diorama & moved it for the first time in almost 3 years to show Max some photos.
These are just my opinion,
Thanks,
Naveen Rajan
Naveen Rajan,
Yes, Siku Linde forklift looks quite nice, i buy 2 them and the price was about 6 euros per piece. Here near in my home town is one little hobby shop and they sell Siku, so i was lucky no need paid shipping. Usually i must put a lot money for shipping, because here in Finland we don´t have any shop who sell O-gauge trains. My workplace use Rocla and Cat forklifts and i drive them 5 day per week.
Thanks,
Johan
I've kinda lost track of where I am with these trucks.
A friend ordered me an Arttista one. It's arrived, but not hollow for fitting decoders.
Here's one of my two Diecast Direct fitted up with a Digitrax DZ 126 decoder.
I've ground the bottoms off the tires to make them sit better.
And here's a movie I made of it to show the rotary beacon and headlights.
The sound is coming from the first truck I fitted up with a Loksound V 3.5
I hope that I haven't confused everyone.
Beautiful surgery! the patient seems to be in a good health!
jp
absolutely.
