I'd take a D&RG or D&RGW in the longer versions.

I would also take a Unlettered one.

I suspect some of the pictures are suffering from compression.

From all the decent pictures I've seen a Drovers Caboose should be longer than normal.

I'd really prefer a listed MSRP vs an auction. Auctions tend to get out of my league fast. Limited qty vs demand for these is going to max price out.

Plus right now I'm scrimping to pay the Tax man. No train money for a while.

Russell,
If you have been to our auction site you may have noticed in the rules
posted there that there is either an MSRP or LBR SRP that will be on each
auction presented to the public.
I believe the LBR SRP for this first DROVERS CABOOSE will be in the
vicinity of $175.00 USD. Usually the auctions start out at around 50% of the
MSRP, in this case about $87.00 USD to begin with.

Reading was the world leader in Anthracite production. The company skirted anti trust laws that prohibited railroads from involvement in mining. Another forum I'm on did some extensive research, as we did a war emergency 2 bay hopper as a club car. Doubt they would have had drovers though.

Ahh... so the picture is now becoming much clearer... I first thought you were soliciting info from the forum to determine a roadname (or roadnames) for a NUMBER of cars you'd produce and sell via PURCHASE.  That apparently isn't your business model.

Given that it now appears you may only be producing ONE "Drover's caboose" to be sold via AUCTION, then I would most certainly agree that the buyer should be able to choose the road-name, since this will be a custom-built car anyway.

I would be inclined to PURCHASE custom built cars, but currently have no interest in buying such a car via auction.  So I'm not your target audience.
