FOUR LEVELS WITHOUT FEEDERS

Wanted to see what would happen if I used the K-Line starter set Silver Chief. It climb to the top level then stopped. I discovered the track was disconnected. Reattached and tried again. It only went one level around then stopped. I assume the connected track siphons off power trying to feed the whole?
