Tom - fantastic video!! Love that you captured such genuine realism as the train approached and crossed the diamond

Arnold - wonderful video!! I've always loved the ALCO RS11 locomotive ever since I modeled HO way back in the 1970s. That's when I purchased one for my HO layout. I must say the RS 11 in D&H livery even makes the engine more attractive IMHO. You also have an impressive line up on Lionel dump cars!

Yesterday I heard on the radio that freight train business is up these days. More people are having things delivered, including by train, which is an economical way of transporting huge quantities of things. Arnold
Notice this freight train includes 2 boxcars full of cookies. Keep them cookies movin'! LOL, Arnold

Good morning and happy new year to everyone! Noticed this thread came back to life so I thought why not add to it. There are a total of four trains running at the same time. Three of the trains are freight and the last one is passenger. Thanks, and happy railroading!

Ken, that old-time C&O steam engine is terrific! Is that a custom paint/lettering scheme?

Nice train and scene Tom. Craig, that busy place on your layout reminds me of the tracks at the KC Union Station where I can sit and eat BBQ and watch freights for hours. You have cool trains and lots of track.
Local freight service on the corridor.

Hey guys, show us your pics and/or videos of your FREIGHT TRAINS. . .
Here's a mid 90's 3rd Rail C&O T1 2-10-4 that I upgraded with a TAS EOB system a number of years ago (when TAS was still in business!) pulling a string of Atlas cars and a 3rd rail caboose.
