Love the Big Boy and all the Divcos
That Big Boy is awesome!
Bob, I haven’t seen Big Boy in Western Pennsylvania for years. Do you know of any around?. @trainroomgary posted on Facebook where he and his wife dines at on in Michigan recently.
Mark, there are still a good number of Frisch's Big Boy restaurants in both Ohio and Michigan. Unfortunately, there are none in Pennsylvania. I heard once that the management of Frisch's was tired of meeting all the requirements of Pennsylvania to regulate the flow of product manufactured outside of the state for use in restaurants. So they closed up shop here.
Bob, that’s a sad story for sure!
I used to love the Big Boy at Cottman Ave in Phila, it was a regular hangout in the 60's and 70's.
Now they're all clustered around Michigan with a few in California and Nevada, and a single lonely one in North Dakota.

Good job,, Bob Severin
Big Boy's had names other than Bob's depending on which part of the country you were in. In Denver they were Azar's. This may be of interest: http://www.thedenvereye.com/azars-big-boy/
They go by Frisch's Big Boys in Ohio. Quite a few near Columbus and around the Toledo area in western Ohio. Cleveland still has a couple that were called Manners, then Bob's and now Frisch's. Did you know
Shoney's was a spin off of Big Boy?

The Big Boy near my parents home in western PA was the place to go after the high school football games on Friday night back in the 60s. There must have been 40 or so cars there in the stalls. We would roam from car to car looking for friends. Even though there were kids from rival schools there, I never saw one fight or even a disagreement.
Thanks for bringing back that memory.
