I have two of these complete sets! That's a wonderful Idea! Except I'm Milwaukee Road rich at the moment.
How many cars complete the set, Marty? I think the 8 cars I have will be all that I buy as even my dual motored PostWar F3's struggle to pull them around O42 curves. These cars weigh over 2 pounds each. Add the weight of an A-B-A engine set and.........
By the way, my Milwaukee Road conversion is readily reversible by just removing the waterslide decals I made.
I'm not sure, but I have two sets of 9. Dallas, Providence, Chicago, Grand Rapids, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Chattanooga and Phoenix. What I meant wasn't you purchasing them, but rather a small, easy, project for folks who can find these to make a set that don't want, or like, the set as is.
Perhaps someone will come along that has the full set, or knows how many different cars belong with this set.
That is a nice enhancement. Am I correct in stating that they were made availible when the TCA held a convention in Seattle?
I think that's a great use for the TCA cars - I've always been surprised at the modest asking prices at meets.

Thanks.
I think that one new car was issued every year from 1995 to 2002.
AND, I think that the matchingF3 engines were made available at the convention that you mentioned. I'm not going to purchase the engines - I have plans to custom paint a set of PostWar dual motored, magnetraction, F3s to match, Milwaukee Road livery.
Anyone know more about this set?
From 1992 to 2001 a single car was offered with that city's name at the TCA Convention. I believe there are 9, a baggage car, Combine, diner, sleeper, dome, full dome, passenger, skytop and duplex.
I have the TCA set, it is only one powered unit and not able to pull the full set if any grades, I also had a set of the F3 shells and converted a set of SF to can motors with Frank Timko's help, sadly he has passed and no one I know of is providing the service he did. I have garnered 2 full sets of these and might do your Milwaukee Road conversion to one set.

Ron, If you'd like, I can email the excel file I made for the Milwaukee Road decals to you.
I printed them on white decal paper to cover the existing graphics

Hmmm- I might keep a look-out for a set of these shells
I would like the files John, I have been using white water slide paper to make the clubs decals for cars converted to our road name. Thanks

File just emailed, Ron
Another "from X to Y". New York Central to Atlantic Coast Line with purple letterboard. Letterboard is cardstock (photo paper). The Birmingham is preserved at the Illinois Railway Museum and is in good condition for a Pullman built stainless steel car.
