Suzukovich, tell me about those NP EMD units. They look just like the ones I used to see when I was a kid here in western Washington.

How did you do that?
Sorry for late response. I wish I DID do that. Just searched "steam engine animated gif", and you will get a bunch of them. Copy n paste into your post. I wanted to put one in my signature, but can't size it down.
And, on an iPad, is hit and miss if it works.
Not to get too far off topic, but this one's kind of exciting
That last one was from a you tube video I belive was a SD90 being delivered in South America

Lionel legacy GP-9s converted to kadees.
Some great looking front ends today.
This is a photo of the Frisco local that ran between Oklahoma City and Tulsa Cherokee yard. The engineer in the photo began as a fireman on the AT&SF in OKC. He later worked on the CRI&P in El Reno, OK, and the DRG&W firing the Yampa Valley Mail. All the while, he was waiting for an opening on the Frisco which he obtained about 1977 and has remained to this day as a BNSF engineer. It was an outstanding experience to work with him.
Recent trip to the VMT with my granddaughter.
